Objectives
1. To create a world class agriculture and rural life centre while maintaining and developing a collection of agricultural artifacts, archives, historical buildings and exhibits of the former Ontario Agricultural Museum site to professional standards for a living history museum.2. To operate and manage a rural life heritage centre on a financially sustainable basis.
3. To enhance public awareness and understanding of the evolution of agriculture and rural life in Ontario through expanding programs, events, interactive exhibits, living history, performances and recreation.
4. To market the facility successfully through structured marketing programs and by creating a strong customer orientation in all facets of the operation.
5. To develop partnerships, sponsorships and a dynamic volunteer program that will enhance the attraction and strengthen the financial viability of the centre.
